We are able to receive files for print in most standard formats, although the best format is usually a PDF file, Press Quality. Please contact us PRIOR TO sending us files to determine the best format for your project. We are able to receive files in MS Publisher format, BUT there will be an additional charge to convert it to an acceptable format for printing. UNDERSTANDING HIGH RESOLUTIONIn order to print well, files MUST be at a resolution of 300 dpi or greater. It is NOT possible to take a file of less resolution (e.g., from a website which is 72 dpi) and make it a higher resolution. The original files has to be at the proper resolution. Even though it is possible to open a photo in Photoshop and change it to a higher resolution, the resulting file will NOT be at the higher resolution, so don't even try it! The BEST format for print is vector format (.ai or .eps extension). If you have a file in this format (ie, logos, etc), please send us that version even if you are unable to open it on your computer. Files of this type ensure the absolute best resolution and print quality. If you have a low resolution file of your logo, we are glad to create a high resolution, vector file for you for a modest fee. As always, if you have any questions or problems, just give us a call at (309) 693-3725 and we'll help you in any way that we can. |
